Many restaurants and hotels are taking advantage of the trend towards remote work by diversifying their revenue through the creation of “third workplaces.” Similar to the open design of coffee bars, these spaces seek to provide a comfortable remote working experience. This will affect the short-term executive office submarket directly for those who don’t require an address or confidentiality for business operations; however, unsecured networks present a greater opportunity for cybercrime.
