University of Central Florida – Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration
Christopher (Chris) Edwards is a graduate of the prestigious University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration. He has over 10 years of professional experience working across Florida communities such as Leesburg, Ocala, and Tallahassee. He has collaborated with individual businesses, business advocacy groups, real estate developers, and investors on strategic community and business development projects. He has worked to build integral public/private sector partnerships and leveraged corporate resources to invigorate business expansion and community redevelopment.
The partnerships have given him an opportunity to work with university research and commercialization ecosystems to advance business startup ideas and concepts. He helped to market and manage Leesburg/Lake County’s first business incubation program in partnership with the University of Central Florida Research and Commercialization Business Incubation Program.
In addition to managing the incubation program, he provided technical assistance to numerous private investors and real estate developers seeking to successfully navigate complex land development and building code regulations. This led to a passion in real estate. Chris decided to follow his passion and obtain his Florida license in Real Estate. Now, he is utilizing his proficiencies as a corporate strategist, team leader, advisor, negotiator and project manager to advance the corporate goals and mission of STRUCTURE Commercial Real Estate and Property Management.
